Job Description
As a cloud infrastructure engineer, you will be part of a team working with either existing cloud based solutions or helping in transforming on premise solutions to Cloud solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure required to maintain solutions in cloud
What will you be doing?
Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
Modifying and improving existing systems.
Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
Experience
3 to 5 Years of experience in as a cloud engineer/admin in any of the leading Cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of Fundamentals of a cloud platform such as Storage, Compute, Networking, Security.
Strong understanding of the Trade-offs in involved in decision making such as performance vs cost aspects of possible alternative solutions.
Strong ability to trouble shoot Cloud Infrastructure related problems.
Good understanding of Cloud Governance.
1 to 2 years experience on Infrastructure as Code tools.
1 to 2 years of Automation experience in any programming language.
1 to 2 years of experience in any CLI interfaces.
Any previous administration experience in components such as databases, container ecosystem, Hadoop ecosystem, Windows/Linux servers will be an added advantage.
An Architectural perspective in Problem solving will be an added advantage.
Advanced certification in any cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
